Diimidazolium aquapentakis(nitrato)neodymate(III)

Abstract: The asymmetric unit of the title compound, (Him)₂[Nd(NO₃)₅H₂O] (Him is 1H-imidazolium, C₃H₅N₂), contains one [Nd(NO₃)₅H₂O]^2- anion and two imdidazolium cations. Nd is coordinated by 11 O atoms. N-HO and O-HO hydrogen-bond interactions link cations and anions, forming a three-dimensional network.
