Abstract: In the molecular structure of the title complex, [Cu(C10H9O2)Cl(C5H14N2)], the CuII atom is in a distorted square-pyramidal geometry, coordinated by two O atoms of a benzoylacetonate ligand and two N atoms of a 3-(dimethylamino)propylamine ligand in the basal plane, while a Cl atom occupies the apical position.
