(S)-2,2'-Diethoxy-1,1'-binaphthyl

Abstract: The title molecule, C₂₄H₂₂O₂, contains two planar naphthyl ring systems. The torsion angle around the the central C-C bond is 111.3 (2)° implying a transoid conformation with respect to the two ethoxy substituents. Only weak intermolecular interactions are present in the crystal structure.
