Sulfathiazolium nitrate monohydrate

Abstract: The title compound, C₉H₁₀N₃O₂S₂⁺·NO₃^-·H₂O, was obtained from a solution of sulfathiazole in dilute nitric acid at room temperature. The crystal structure is stabilized by a network of hydrogen bonds and van der Waals interactions.
