Abstract: The title compound, [Fe(C₅H₅)(C₉H₁₀NO₂)], was prepared from ferrocenecarboxylic acid and serine. In the crystal structure, molecules are arranged in chains with an intermolecular hydrogen bond between hydroxy groups and N atoms.
