Triaqua(2,2'-bipyridine)maleatonickel(II) monohydrate

Abstract: In the title complex, [Ni(C₄H₂O₄)(C₁₀H₈N₂)₂(H₂O)₃]·H₂O, the Ni atom has a distorted NiO₄N₂ octahedral coordination, formed by one maleate dianion, one bipyridine and three water molecules. The crystal structure is stabilized by - stacking and hydrogen-bonding interactions.
