Abstract: In the title compound, C₇H₈N₄, the C atom of the bridging methylene group lies on a twofold rotation axis. The dihedral angle between the symmetry-related imidazole rings is 75.0 (2)°. The crystal packing is stabilized by van der Waals forces.
