O)copper(II)Abstract: In the title compound, [Cu(C7H4NO4)2(NH3)4], the Cu atom is six-coordinated by four ammine N and two 4-nitrobenzoate O atoms. Of the two nitrobenzoate ligands, one gives weaker coordination than the other. These Cu complexes are connected through a complex pattern of hydrogen-bonding interactions, resulting in a three-dimensional network.
