-chloro]Abstract: In the title complex, [CuCl2(C3H7NO)(H2O)]n, each CuII atom is in a Cl3O2 five-coordinate environment with a slightly distorted square-pyramidal geometry. Cu atoms are linked by
2-Cl ions, resulting in a one-dimensional linear chain structure. In the crystal structure, intermolecular O-H
Cl hydrogen bonds link adjacent chains to form a two-dimensional network.
