Abstract: The title centrosymmetric binuclear complex, [Cu₂(C₂O₄)(C₁₂H₈N₂)₂(C₃H₇NO)₂](ClO₄)₂, was synthesized by the reaction of 1,10-phenanthroline, 2,5-dihydroxy-1,4-dithiane and Cu(ClO₄)₂·6H₂O. In the asymmetric unit, the Cu^II atom is in a distorted square-pyramidal coordination geometry. The closest CuO distance involving the perchlorate anion is 2.745 (2) Å.
