Abstract: In the title compound, C₂₀H₁₈O₈·C₄H₈O₂, all bond lengths and angles in the di-p-toluoyltartaric acid molecule are normal. The structure is stabilized by O-HO and C-HO hydrogen bonds in addition to van der Waals interactions.
