9-[4-(6-Bromo-4-phenylnaphthalen-2-yl)phenyl]-9H-carbazole

Abstract: The title compound, C₃₄H₂₂BrN, was synthesized by N-alkylation of 7-bromo-3-(4-bromophenyl)-1-phenylnaphthalene with 9H-carbazole. The carbazole ring system is essentially planar and makes a dihedral angle of 48.63 (9)° with the plane of the adjacent benzene ring.
