9,10-Dehydrodeoxyartemisinin

Abstract: The title compound, C₁₅H₂₂O₄, obtained from the dehydration of dihydroartemisinin, has retained the endoperoxide bridge of the parent compound along with the C=C bond. The six-membered rings exhibit chair, twist-boat and envelope conformations.
