Abstract: The title compound, C₂₁H₁₇N₅, was prepared using a microwave-induced condensation reaction between 5-amino-3-methyl-1-phenylpyrazole and formaldehyde. The molecules lie across twofold rotation axes in space group C2/c and are into chains by a - stacking interaction.
