3-[5-(2,4-Dichlorophenyl)-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl]-2-phenylthiazolidin-4-one

Abstract: The title compound, C₁₇H₁₁Cl₂N₃OS₂, was synthesized by the reaction of benzylidene[5-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl]amine and mercaptoacetic acid. In the crystal structure, there are C-HO hydrogen bonds, resulting in a three-dimensional network. There is also a short intermolecular NCl interaction.
