K.-D. Warzecha, J. Lex and A. G. Griesbeck

Abstract: In the roof-shaped molecule of the title compound, C15H11NO2, a planar cyclic imide and a phenyl ring are tethered by a methylene group. In the crystal structure, parallel layers of phthalimides stack along the a axis with interplanar distances of 3.394 (2) and 3.495 (2)Å.
