Abstract: The five-membered ring in the acenapthene ring system of the title compound, C₃₂H₂₆N₂O₂, slightly deviates from planarity. The two pyrrolidine rings adopt half-chair conformations and the piperazine ring adopts a chair conformation. The molecular structure is stabilized by weak C-HO intramolecular interactions and the crystal packing is stabilized by C-HO intermolecular interactions forming a chain running along (011).
