Pyridinium saccharinate

Abstract: The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C₅H₆N⁺·C₇H₄NO₃S^-, consists of two saccharinate anions and two pyridinium cations. Intermolecular N-HO hydrogen bonds link these ions into discrete assemblies. The crystal packing is further stabilized by - stacking interactions.
