Abstract: In the title compound, [Sn₃(C₆H₅)₉(C₉H₃O₆)]·CHCl₃, the 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylate trianion binds to three triphenyltin entities and the three Sn atoms exist in distorted tetrahedral SnOC₃ environments.
