Tris(ethylenediammonium) penta-₂-oxo-decaoxodi-₅-phosphato-pentamolybdate(VI) trihydrate

Abstract: In the title compound, (C₂H₁₀N₂)₃[Mo₅O₁₅(PO₄)₂]·3H₂O, the heteropolymolybdate anion adopts its usual structure, consisting of five edge-sharing and corner-sharing distorted MoO₆ octahedra and two corner-sharing PO₄ tetrahedra. A large number of O-HO and N-HO hydrogen bonds helps to consolidate the crystal packing.
