Abstract: The square-planar title complex, [PdCl₂(C₃₈H₃₂OP₂)], shows the P atoms to be trans coordinated, with a P-Pd-P angle of 176.50 (4)°. The phenyl rings in the phosphorus ligand are inclined at an angle of 61.2 (1)° to each other.
