Homopiperazinium bis(dihydrogenarsenate)

Abstract: The crystal packing in the title compound, C₅H₁₄N₂²⁺·2H₂AsO₄^-, involves anion-to-anion O-HO hydrogen bonds, resulting in double chains of dihydrogenarsenate tetrahedra. The double chains are crosslinked by further O-HO bonds to result in a three-dimensional framework that accommodates the organic cations in large cavities. The cations interact with the framework by way of N-HO bonds.
