Abstract: The molecular structure of the title compound [systematic name: 5,7,4',5'',7'',4'''-hexamethoxy-3',8''-biflavone trihydrate], C₃₆H₃₀O₁₀·3H₂O, contains two flavone groups linked by a C-C single bond. In the crystal structure, centrosymmetric clusters are formed via intermolecular O-HO hydrogen bonds involving the hexamethoxy-3',8''-biflavone molecules and solvent water molecules.
