Abstract: The molecule of the title compound, C₁₃H₁₁BrN₂O, displays a trans configuration with respect to the central C=N double bond and is almost planar. An intramolecular O-HN hydrogen bond [ON = 2.589 (6) Å] may influence the overall conformation.
