cis-Dichlorobis(2,2'-diamino-4,4'-bi-1,3-thiazole)manganese(II) methanol solvate

Abstract: In the title compound, [MnCl₂(C₆H₆N₄S₂)₂]·CH₃OH, the Mn^II ion is coordinated by two 2,2'-diamino-4,4'-bithiazole ligands and two Cl^- anions in cis positions to form a distorted octahedral coordination geometry. In the crystal structure, a three-dimensional supramolecular structure involving hydrogen bonding and aromatic packing is observed.
