Bis[1,3-bis(pentafluorophenyl)triazenido]tricarbonylosmium(II)

Abstract: The title compound, [Os(C₁₂F₁₀N₃)₂(CO)₃], has been synthesized by the reaction of C₆F₅N=NNHC₆F₅ with H₂(Os)₃(CO)₁₀. The OsC₃N₃ coordination is octahedral around the Os center. Two bonding modes, chelating and monodentate, are observed for the triazenyl groups.
