Abstract: In the title mononuclear zinc(II) complex, [ZnBr2(C13H18Cl2N2O)], there are two independent complex molecules in the asymmetric unit. Each ZnII atom is four-coordinated by the imine N and phenolate O atoms of the Schiff base ligand, and by two Br atoms, forming a tetrahedral geometry. In the crystal structure, the molecules are linked through intermolecular N-H
O and C-H
Br hydrogen bonds, forming a three-dimensional network.
