Abstract: The title compound, C₁₄H₁₃N₃O₂·2H₂O, displays a trans configuration with respect to the C=N double bond. In the crystal structure, the molecules are linked through weak intermolecular O-HO and O-HN hydrogen bonds, forming a network structure.
