-p-Phenylenediaminetetraacetato)bis[aqua(2,2'-bipyridine)cobalt(II)] tetrahydrateAbstract: In the crystal structure of the title compound, [Co2(C14H12N2O8)(C10H8N2)2(H2O)2]·4H2O, p-phenylenediaminetetraacetate (PhDTA) is located across an inversion center and bridges two CoII atoms to form the dinuclear molecule. The CoII atom has a distorted octahedral coordination geometry. Extensive intermolecular hydrogen bonding helps to stabilize the crystal structure.
