Bis(methylammonium) tetrathiomolybdate(VI)

Abstract: The structure of the title complex, (CNH₆)₂[MoS₄], consists of tetrahedral tetrathiomolybdate dianions, [MoS₄]^2-, and two crystallographically independent methylammonium cations, MeNH₃⁺, all of which are located on mirror planes. The tetrathiomolybdate anions are linked to the organic cations via hydrogen bonding.
