Abstract: The title compound, C13H10BrN3O, is roughly planar and displays a trans configuration with respect to the C=N double bond. The dihedral angle between the benzene and pyridine rings is 4.2 (3)°. The crystal structure is stabilized by intermolecular N-H
N hydrogen bonds.
