Conformational axial chirality of phenyl N-[2-(acetylamino)biphenyl-4-yl]carbamate

Abstract: The crystal structure of the title compound, C₂₁H₁₈N₂O₃, reveals an interesting case of axial conformational chirality. Due to the symmetry requirements of the space group (P2₁/n), conformational stereoisomers of both P and M helicity are present.
