Abstract: In the molecule of the title compound, C₁₂H₁₁N₃OS, the dihedral angle between the planar rings is 59.4 (2)°. The structure is stabilized by intramolecular N-HN and intermolecular N-HS hydrogen bonds. Intermolecular N-HS hydrogen bonds link the independent molecules into dimers.
