1,2-Dihydrobenzocyclobutene-4-carboxylic acid

Abstract: In the molecule of the title compound, C₉H₈O₂, the benzocyclobutene system is nearly planar. In the crystal structure, intermolecular O-HO hydrogen bonds link the molecules into dimers along the c axis.
