Abstract: In the crystal structu of the title compound, C₁₁H₂₂O₈P₂·0.5H₂O, the asymmetric unit contains two spiro[5.5]undecane molecules and one water molecule. The structure is stabilized by intra- and intermolecular C-HO and O-HO hydrogen bonds.
