3N]tribromoindium(III)Abstract: In the title compound, fac-[InBr3{NH(CH2C5H4N)2}], the InIII atom is coordinated by three bromide ligands and a tridentate bis(2-pyridylmethyl)amine ligand. A mirror plane passes through the In atom, one Br atom and central NH group. The molecule exhibits facial octahedral stereochemistry, with In-Br bond lengths of 2.5682 (13) and 2.6060 (9) Å, and In-N bond lengths of 2.311 (6) and 2.328 (9) Å.
