2-Amino-6-methylpyridinium 2-formylbenzoate monohydrate

Abstract: The title compound, C₆H₉N₂⁺·C₈H₅O₃^-·H₂O, contains hydrogen-bonded [R₂²(8)R₄²(8)R₂²(8)] motifs involving 2-amino-6-methylpyridinium and 2-carbonylbenzoate ions. These motifs are connected by three O-HO hydrogen bonds involving two water O atoms.
