-L-allopyranosideAbstract: In the title molecule, C8H11NO4, the pyranoside ring adopts a flattened E5 conformation in which five of the six ring atoms are coplanar, and the sixth atom is displaced from this plane. The structure of this molecule differs little from that of the diastereomer in which the stereochemistry at the anomeric centre is inverted.
