2-(4-Methoxyphenyl)-1H-benzimidazole

Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₄H₁₂N₂O, the dihedral angle between the benzimidazole ring system and the 4-methoxyphenyl substituent is 34.12 (6)°. The molecules are linked by intermolecular N-HN hydrogen bonds, forming chains running along the c axis.
