-L-lyxo-hexopyranosideAbstract: In the title compound, C14H17NO3S, the pyranoside ring adopts a 2SO skew-boat conformation, owing to the presence of the fused oxazolidinone ring, which distorts the six-membered ring away from the normally observed chair form. In this conformation, each of the methyl and p-thiotolyl substituents of the pyranoside ring are oriented pseudo-equatorially.
