3-Hydroxy-1-(4-methoxyphenyl)-3-(2-nitrophenyl)propan-1-one

Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₆H₁₅NO₅, all bond lengths and angles are within normal ranges. The dihedral angle between the two benzene rings is 15.6 (2)°. In the crystal structure, the molecules are linked through weak intermolecular O-HO hydrogen bonds, forming chains along the b axis.
