Abstract: The isothiocyanate ligand in the title compound, [Cu(NCS)(C₁₈H₁₂N₂)]_n, links adjacent tetrahedral Cu^I atoms into a zigzag chain; the Cu lies on a mirror plane that bisects the chelating biquinoline ligand.
