Abstract: In the title TiIII complex, [Ti(C36H40BN6)Cl2(C12H14N2)]·C7H8, the Ti atom is coordinated in a distorted octahedral geometry by three N atoms that are constrained to a facial arrangement by the TpMs* ligand [TpMs* = HB(3-mesitylpyrazolyl)2(5-mesitylpyrazolyl)], by two mutually cis chloride ligands and by an N atom from a 5-mesitylpyrazole ligand.
