Abstract: The Mn atom in the title compound, [Mn(C₈H₅O₃)₂(C₃H₄N₂)₂(H₂O)₂], is datively linked to the imidazole heterocycles and water molecules, and covalently linked to the substituted benzoate groups in an all-trans octahedral geometry; the Mn atom lies on a center of inversion.
