2N,N')copper(II)Abstract: In the title mononuclear complex, [Cu(C8H5Cl2O3)2(C12H8N2)(H2O)], the CuII atom exists in a slightly distorted square-pyramidal coordination environment involving two carboxylate O atoms from two monodentate 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetate ligands, two N atoms from a 1,10-phenanthroline ligand and one water molecule. A supramolecular structure is constructed by hydrogen-bonding and

stacking interactions.
