Abstract: In the crystal structure of the molecular title compound, [ZnI₂(C₄H₄N₂)₂], the Zn atom is coordinated by two I atoms and two pyridazine ligands, resulting in a slightly distorted ZnN₂I₂ tetrahedral geometry.
