3-(2-Chloroethyl)-2-methyl-4-oxo-6,7,8,9-tetrahydro-4H-pyrido[1,2-a]pyrimidin-1-ium chloride

Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₁H₁₆ClN₂O⁺·Cl^-, the chloroethyl side chain is in a synclinal conformation. The tetrahydropyridine ring adopts a half-chair conformation. The crystal structure is stabilized by intermolecular N-HCl hydrogen bonds.
