2-acetato-diacetonitrile[
2-N,N'-bis(2-hydroxyphenyl)pyridine-2,6-dicarboxamide]potassium(I)]Abstract: The title compound, [K(C2H3O2)(C2H3N)2(C19H15N3O4)], is polymeric. Each K+ ion adopts a distorted octahedral geometry, being linked to two 2,6-pyridinedicarboxamide ligands through carbonyl O atoms and to two acetate groups also through O atoms. The potassium coordination is completed by the N atoms of two acetonitrile ligands. The 2,6-pyridinedicarboxamide ligands are also involved in O-H
O hydrogen bonds.
