6IO)], crystallizes with two unique molecules in the asymmetric unit. Both iodo substituents of the iodoacetyl groups point away from the Fe atoms of the ferrocenyl groups. In the crystal structure, C—H
O hydrogen bonds and unusual I
π interactions stabilize the structure.
