Abstract: The crystal structure of the title compound, C₂₃H₂₂O₂, which exists in the enol form, is stabilized by an intramolecular hydrogen bond. The dihedral angle between the naphthyl ring system and the aromatic ring of the t-BuC₆H₄ group is 23.50 (10)°.
